How to get started is a common question for the new users of this board. In order to help you get started, please read the following FAQs:

Q: The front page of the board has so many topics. I want to read about those topics but I don’t know how?

A: If you are on the front page, what you will see are the categories and forums. There are several categories in this board such as Board Message, Free Divination, the Art of Wisdom, Circle of Friends, Anything Goes Here, Your Chat Room, and Community Experiences. For each Category, you will find different forums created for you. Please go back to the board and find the "Board Message" and the "Objectives of the Board" Title. the title "Board Message" is what we call a category. The title “Objectives of this Board” is what we call a Forum.

Going back to your question, if you want to read what is inside each forum, just point your mouse to your desired forum title. (The forum titles are usually highlighted or in bold letters.) Click on the title to see what is inside that forum.


Q: I have some questions that I want answered by the I ching readers. How do I write or post my questions?

A: Go to the “Free Divination (Reading)” Category. Under this category is a “Free Reading” Forum.

Point and click your mouse on the title "Free Reading Forum" to bring you inside the forum as shown below.

To write or post your question, click on new topic to bring you to the text editor and begin typing your question. Make sure that you write your title on the Topic Title box on top of the editor. Failure to do so, the system will not allow your message to be posted.

After writing your questions, you can preview it by clicking the Preview Post botton or post it by clicking the Post New Topic button.

Q: I can view but I can’t post new topic. Is there something wrong with the board?
A: When you visit the board, make sure that you are logged in. The board will not allow your posting unless you are logged in.

Q: I am an Iching reader. Can I reply to a question asked in this board?
A: This board does not allow other readers to post reply to any questions at the moment. Unless you are authorized by the Administrator, you will not be allowed to post your reply. This board is monitored and moderated. Unauthorized reply to any questions will be deleted by the Administrator.

Q: I am an Iching reader. I understand I just can’t post my reply to a question asked by a querent at the moment. Is there a way to ask for permission so I can practice my skills?
A: You may send Private Message to Horse to ask or apply for permission to read. However, your application will be subject to evaluation and approval of the current moderators.

Q: Can I post my message or article in any forum other than the Free Reading Forum?
A: Yes you can as long as it follows the objective of the forum.
