Still practicing and still hoping I'll get better!

This one concerns a famous movie that's been thought lost. Someone is claiming to have located a print of it, though others are skeptical. I asked when the film will come out on DVD, since this seems a good way to determine it -- if it hasn't really been found it obviously can't be released on DVD.

Year: t, Month: wa, Day: m-IV, Empty: sh & h

     Revolution - 49   Abide - 17

     R wa - -          R wa - -      grn
     P yo  -           P yo  -       blk
     B h   -  J        B h   -       wht
G w  B h   O           R cn - -      gry
     R c  - -          K y  - -      yel
     K m   -  U        B t   -       red

                       Stable

Now. I think the G star might be the best one to use since the film is valuable and desirable. And by my guess, it's not looking too good? Because the Gw looks like it's getting killed by the Bh. I am also noticing the black P which is said to represent a bad document (like a falsely identified film might be considered.)

What do you make of it?

Actually, in the case of this question, you'll be wanting to know if this person has really managed to obtain anything of significance at all. Otherwise you are making the asumption that something is there to be converted to a DVD in the first place.

So instead of going "if it comes out on DVD, then it must be there" go direct and ask if this person has it instead. Especially since if it is found, it may end up on a different medium other than DVD for all you know. tongue.gif

Well, part of why I asked it in that way was also to cover the possibility that maybe the film would be found by a different person -- basically to determine how "lost" the film is or shall likely remain for the forseeable future. (Certainly, the only reason a movie of that level of fame would be found but wouldn't be released on DVD, would be if DVDs were to become obsolete by the time of its recovery; and that is unlikely to occur for several more years. Were L.A.M. found, I wouldn't be surprised if it would be on shelves within 6 weeks.)

There is the added trouble on the situation, that the man who thinks he found a copy no longer has access to it -- so even if he had really found it, that might not mean anything would come of it. (He claims to have merely seen where it is; he doesn't own it.) He made his announcement of having found it in hopes that someone who still has access to the film might get it into the right hands.

However, as per your request, here is the throw for whether or not the man calling himself Sid Terror actually found the movie to begin with (I asked it as "Did he really find "London After Midnight?":

If it matters, he says it was around 1988 when he initially saw the film in storage.

EDIT:
I thought of another way to ask the question that might be better for obtaining the kind of information I'm after. Please read whichever hexagram(s) you think best. Keep in mind I don't care so much whether the guy is telling the truth as I do about whether the film is, or shall become, found.

This time I asked "Does a print of at least 70 minutes of 'London After Midnight' still exist?" (70 minutes would be roughly the complete film.)

On this one I am noticing the G is hidden and being carried in the B line again, which, if I am correct in thinking G star is best to represent the film, looks like a bad sign.

For the first one, no, he never found it in the first place.

For the second question, the answer is actually yes. It was found a while ago. However, it's not in great condition, likely incomplete and probably not restorable either. And also unlikely to be given up easily. So...
