Hi smile.gif

I'm calling this one 'The Nine Day Column' because I was going to write a weekly column and it's been 9 days since I posted anything on here, so I guess my week last nine days instead of 7 which is exactly what it felt like.

It feels better now, life that is, it seems to be switching into a much smoother gear for me anyhow, today anyway!

First I want to thank UK Anon for doing a reading for me. I think I realize now more than ever just how much time these guys like Anon, Horse dedicate to this site and The I Ching. Thanks guys so much, I don't know why I've come along and found such a wonderful bunch of friends here or how I got so lucky but I'm sure glad to be here and to know you all. I've hung on to this group for dear life at times when my life wasn't going my way. I've never really connected with any group like I've done thin one and it feels neat.

So smile.gif Thanks smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif

Ok how's your week going? Or how did last week go?
Mine was long. That's how it felt anyway to me. It was like I was just plodding along like an old cow. Not too enthusiastic about anything other than feeling sorry for myself thinking about my Mom's health and she's not looking like she's gonna be around or physically on the planet much longer.

I did have a nice time with friends after work on Saturday. It was sort of an impromptu thing that everyone just showed up at the same time so about 7 of us sat around and just visited and had a couple of beers and it was fun.

Yesterday I literally took the day off and relaxed. I learned how to do that when I lived in Italy for 6 months (about 5 years ago). The Italians or the majority of them take 2 to 3 hours off during the middle of the day to eat lunch or whatever but mainly to relax. I remember I asked 'WHY do you do this? I mean almost all the shops close too, so you can't even go shopping!' and the answer I got with the most innocent eyes as to why I didn't just naturally understand this was 'Because we want to enjoy life!'..............

Ahhhh what a concept huh?

Don't wait to go on vacation or for your days off from work but do it everyday! smile.gif

I miss Italy and the people there, I really did learn to relax and also learned about eating good food and enjoying it too as in taking your time but most of all was the presence of 'family' and love, it was a wonderful experience that's stayed with me to this day.

So today I relaxed even while I got things done around the house that I wanted to do including a good work out this morning. Exercise is something I do to be able to live in this world somewhat comfortably. It's like I burn off the negative stuff everyday and I can go through the day feeling pretty darn good..... actually relaxed is the word smile.gif
Which seems to be the 'jist' of this column today.

So relax whenever you can cause it sure does make life a lot more comfortable.

No big words of wisdom today. I'm just happy to be here and spending a little time with you and I hope you are having a good day...........and if you're not try that 'starting over thing'..........sometimes it works for me, not always but when it does it's pretty cool.

Ciao for now,
Your pal,
Ces
