I feel you should not worry too much.
As for what you said she "doesn't remember what happened", she just wants to let it pass and not to bring it up again. (Things have happened, she will remember it of course! who will forget incidents which happened recently..)

I came across such incident with this girl friend whom I liked before, which I tried to hold her hand but was rejected that time. Then a couple of days later I tried to apologise to her, thinking probably I offended her, but she said "Apologise? for what?"


I guess probably just be patient and follow what horse advised from the hexagram
