Question is too general for "future" is the time frame you had not defined. It could mean 10 - 15 years time. I believe price will reach that level by then.
Someone quite knowlegeable had predicted that price will reach $200 per barrel by July 4, 2008.
Based on one of my I Ching readings done to confirm his claim, the answer was negative. Price will not reach that level, so the claim appears to be false.
