in terms of work and also outside my work place you know like some social figures like godfather (just an example). inside an outside the organisation. some real powerful person

1. What's wrong with your character:

You are far too heavily interested in "molding" the world, leaving your mark on the world. In getting or reaching for this power, you are linking it automatically with success and worldly wealth and riches (status, success, power, women). Either in reaching for it, or as part of obtaining it. This want of this type of power should be curbed, having it is one thing, wanting it is another. Especially since you appear to have a rather non-philanphropic reason for wanting it.

Generally, you should learn to realise that, education is not the only way for success in life. Even though there are often many requirements these days for higher positions of power and status that are related to education. To leave a lasting mark on the world, often one needs to find where one fit's in best, and work there.

Overall, it is best not to seek power and wealth as a measure of success. But to seek what is truly right for you, and what you are happy with, you will have to do what is not really the best things, or things that you like for yourself or for others in general. Once you have done that, more often than not, you will find the power and wealth that you sought and fought so hard for, but could never get before. But the problem lies in willing to walk that road.

Have you considered being a teacher? Although not quite what you are asking about, it does hold a certain level of prestiege and influence in the end.

Am i right to say that if i keep having to desire for these wants, i may end up in a wrong direction or even end up with nothing at the end?

Hmm these are from the hex, that means those success books by expert does make some sense or perhaps workable.

ALL of these books i have read mentioned one common thing that is to do what one really enjoy doing, do it well and get paid for it, and that will lead to success and a fulfilling life.

And don't think about making money, as long as one is good at what he is doing or the best in what he is doing, the money will flow automatically without chasing for it.

I wonder if this is really the secret to success.

as for the movie, most probably i think from your reading is like some guy with a money face doing whatever he can to get it and end up as a big loser in the end.
