Lesson 1 Knowing what you truly desire Everything in the Universe is about energy. Every object, seen or unseen, is being formed by a substance of subtle energies. Our thought is a potent energy. Every thought that we create, and if we continue to nourish this thought by our strong desire, form a substance and manifest into a physical reality. But we are not aware about this truth. This thought forms our self--- our mind, behavior, our attitude, our physical appearance, our confidence, our self-esteem, our moral and spiritual values. Other people’s thought that they impressed upon us, also aids in our spiritual, moral and physical formation. This formation of our self starts to happen from childhood. Whatever words we hear about us, make us. When you always heard from childhood that you were good looking, your memory bank (subconscious mind) believed it and as a result, it developed a strong sense of confidence about yourself. The way you talk, the way you dress up, the way you communicate or socialize, have something to do with that belief dictated by your subconscious mind that you are good looking and it made you very confident. You live what your subconscious mind tells you to live. Therefore, if we heard otherwise, i.e. a lot of negative comments about ourselves oftentimes, we now think and feel negatively about ourselves and towards other people, then we act negatively. Imagine what kind of life this could ever give us. This thought forms or create our fortune. As we desire something for our own self, our thinking, feeling and actions connive together towards the creation of this fortune. So when you say to yourself, I desire to marry a spouse with good intellect, good looking, with strong sex appeal, who comes from a well to do family, then your process of creation runs according to this goal. If you do it properly, then the connivance of your thinking, feeling and acting, manifests this reality. Same way with having your own business, living a healthy life, living a happy and fun life, living a prosperous life, etc. They all must be formed by your every thought. Every thought is a substance of creation that manifests into physical reality. But it is important that we know what we truly desire. We cannot always change our mind from time to time or even in the middle of the process. We cannot say we choose to experience this, then later on we will say, oh no, this is what I desire. This way, we are confusing the Universe. Decide on what you desire and think of it as a one pointed thought moving in one direction towards the Universe before taking any necessary action. Normally, when you make a decision on your desire or goal, your energy starts to build up. You will notice that you think of this goal or desire every so often. You become emotionally involved and really feel something positive (or negative) about this goal, because, where your attention goes, your energy flows. Finally, your actions become dependent on this goal or desire of yours. But most of the time, this thought, feelings and decisive actions do not last long, causing our desire not to manifest. For some reasons like, we found something better and we changed our mind, or we became so impatient that we unconsciously decided not to push through with our desire, or we doubted ourselves and felt we were not ready for this goal or realized that this goal was not for us. Let us say today we desire to own a brand new Mercedes. For this goal, you followed the process properly. But after a couple of weeks, you realize that it’s almost impossible for you to own this expensive car. Then all of a sudden, you change your mind and settle to own a cheaper car. In the end, you do not get either. Why? Your process confuses God or the Universe. This creation process is propelled and guided by the Universal Law, the Law of Attraction. Every Universal Law is constant. It never changes. It is natural and it always happens, like the law of Gravity. Whatever you throw in upward motion will always touch the ground in a downward motion. Nothing can change this process. Every Law must be applied with extra care. Be careful with what you wish for, you might just get it, as the saying goes. Webster defines Attraction as a mutual action by which bodies tend to be drawn together. But the Universal Law of Attraction defines it as whatever we focus on, EXPANDS, whatever we focus on continually, EXPANDS EXPONENTIALLY! There is a big difference in those definitions. Webster says, drawing together of two bodies. Meaning, if you are good looking, you may attract someone who is attracted to someone good looking. When you want to be known, you try to impress everyone so you can attract people according to your desire. This is about attracting what you do not have at the moment. You try to attract something that you want. You want it because you don’t have it. On the other hand, Law of attraction defines it as focusing on something so that it expands and that if we continually focus on it, we can make it expands exponentially. This attraction is applicable only to everything that we already have in us or within us. So it is not about focusing on something that we don’t have. This is applied in this manner because as explained in the “Decide to embrace our grea-*test*-('") potential” section, which says, everything that we could possibly want is right here where we are. Because we are all that is. We have everything that we need in this world. God, the Universe is so good that he made sure that whatever it is we will need in our journey in this physical world has been provided for. It’s just that we don’t know that is why we don’t recognize them. We are abundant as a child of God. Remember that. Your creation process can never fail! Remember this--- it is important that you believe that what you have is already with you. You just have to choose and use it. So that when you start your own creation, you will not focus on what you think you don’t have. For example, if I say, I want extra income to pay my bills. This statement suggests that you are asking for something you don’t have at the moment, that’s why you said, you wanted to have it. You will notice that I seldom, if not at all, use the word “want”. Instead, I use the word “desire”. So if your statement has the “want”, change it. And if ever you make a mistake and use that, what happens? As the Law states, focus on something and it will expand. This way you will surely attract what you lack of or what you don’t have will expand and you will have more of problems similar to this. So be careful and make sure you attract your desire the right way. So how will the law be applied? So simple…. begin your conscious creation by following these steps: 1. Among all the abundance that you have, choose one thing that you desire to experience in your life. And experience it in the present moment. As if, it has already happened or already happening. Imagine a scenario of your end result ideal to you and so practical to you that you can convince yourself to believe it. Keep in mind that you cannot manifest something that you do not believe will ever exist. Conviction is a very important ingredient in creation. Then, your scenario has to be clear and precise. Not confusing to you. It should not have ambiguous meaning. The meaning should be clear to you, understandable to you. For example: Your goal: To spend your vacation with your family in Disneyland You Positive Statement: I am grateful to God, now that we are spending our vacation in Disneyland. Your Scenario: I see myself and my family roaming around the Disneyland. We are all so excited about this vacation we have been longing for so long. At last, it is happening now. We are staying in a five star hotel because we can afford to. I see myself, my wife and my children buying everything we desire to buy… plenty of food, toys, souvenirs, without worrying about how much we shall spend for the day. We don’t face this limitation now. I thank God I now experience the joy and happiness this trip has brought to my family. I am so grateful that I am not worried about limitations in our decisions and actions while spending this vacation together. What a wonderful vacation! 2. Know your purpose, your objective must be in alignment with your values. Don’t ask for something that is not in accordance with your way of life. It should be something that you so desire that when you start to experience it, you will appreciate it, you will take care of it, you will be so thankful for it. It should be something that will not make you do evil. It should be something that shall make you a much better person. For example: Positive Statement: I really wanted my family to experience this vacation because I wanted them to be happy. We have been planning for this and this is the best time to go for it. Negative Statement: I have been waiting for this opportunity to spend our vacation in Disneyland so that I can prove to my neighbors and friends that I too, can do it for my family’s sake. I want my family to spend this vacation together because I hate them or I feel sorry whenever they ask for it. I envy my neighbor who has just come back from Disneyland so I must go there also with my family. 3. Don’t change your mind. Create a one pointed thought. Don’t shift to another desire after you have made your decision as this will either delay/ prolong the process of creation or you may not get anything at all. You will end up frustrated and giving up on your desire. That is why, deciding on what you truly want is a very important process. Take your time thinking about it over and again before you finally say, this is what I choose to experience. For example: Today: I have decided to spend our vacation in Disneyland during summer. I know God will give me the money and everything my family need in order to enjoy this vacation. A few days later: Oh boy! I think I should delay this until next summer, I don’t think I can have the money that I have for this event. A few days later: I think it will be better for us if we just spend our vacation in a beach resort. Oh God, give me all the resources for this vacation. A few days later: I was right, I think, now I am 100% sure, I really want to go to the Disneyland. I can make my family so happy if we push thru with this original plan. Oh God, give me all the resources that I need for this vacation. MAKE UP YOU MIND, WILL YOU! 4. Get a your personal journal. I advise you to keep your log of all your creations. This is the book of your personal achievements. In your journal, write your desire, whatever it is you choose to experience in your present life. Always remember, you should not use the word “want”. Use “desire” instead. It is important to write down your statement. From a thought, you have already created a form when you write it down. For example: I am grateful to God, now that we are spending our vacation in Disneyland. I desire to experience the joy and happiness this Disneyland Vacation can give us. This is a wonderful experience for all of us, especially for my children. 5. Every morning when you wake up, spend 5 minutes or so and visualize your scenario that you created in step 1. This is your creation process. Imagine that it is already happening or it has already happened. By doing this, you are sending the idea to your subconscious mind. Your subconscious mind will surely receive it during the process, will remember it and automatically give life to it as days go by. At the end of the visualization, say to your self, and so it is. It is done. This is to tell your subconscious mind that you are creating your desire in the NOW, the present moment. Not in the future. By doing this everyday, you are practically applying the Law of Attraction. So that what you focus on expands. Focus on it everyday or continually and you will surely make it happen. Just make sure you don’t entertain negativities during the process, like- doubt, fear and worry. Let he Universe do its work for you. 6. During the day, live your creation by dramatizing it. Dramatizing means, think about it, feel about it, act on it. As if you are enjoying your desire, your creation at the present moment. Experience how it feels to have what you desire. 7. Thank God, the Universe. Be grateful at all times. Be grateful about your creation, from the bottom of your heart, knowing that it is on its way to you. This is one way of telling the Universe to hurry up and give your desire to you. Please note: Take your time in doing the step 1 and 2. Don’t hurry so you won’t make mistake and change later on. It usually takes me about at least 3 days before I proceed to the next steps. Happy manifesting! |
