Hello Everyone!

Thank you so much for the birthday wishes biggrin.gif

We didn't do all that much for my birthday this year - I didn't really feel like doing anything apart from catch up on sleep and, in general, relax.

For once, I got what I wanted - Yippee!

Thank you once again for the birthday wishes.

Hoping everyone has a wonderful day cool.gif

Dear Auss,

Belated as it may be, I would still like to greet you Happy Birthday biggrin.gif I'm happy to know that you got something you like on your birthday.

I also pray that the Lord bless you with everything you need and . . . so long as it is not against His will . . . may He also grant you some of the things you desire!

Happy Happy Birthday and take care always!

Dear Aussi,

A very happy and belated Birthday to you smile.gif

I grew up with the Native Americans and although I am from Irish/Scottish heritage I did not even realize until in my teens that I was any different from my friends. I still feel I am a Native American. Here is a very special gift that was given to me that I would like to give to you for your birthday celebration.
It does ring so true into your heart that it feels like more than just a poem.

TWO WOLVES

An elder Cherokee Native American was teaching his grandchildren about life.
He said to them, "A fight is going on inside me... it is a
terrible fight and it is between two wolves.

One wolf represents fear,
anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance,
self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority,
lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

The other stands for joy, peace, love, hope, sharing, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence,
friendship, empathy, generosity, truth,
compassion, and faith.

This same fight is going on inside you, and
inside every other person, too."

They thought about it for a minute
and then one child asked his grandfather,
"Which wolf will win?"

The old Cherokee simply replied..."The one you feed."

I agree with you about just being able to lay around and relax, THAT is a very nice gift to give yourself.

Have a great day,
Cecilia
