I am about to contact someone from my recent past.Hexagram 51 came up.Can someone tell me what this is all about please?

Since you are using the line movement interpretation method. I suggest reading the books you have already, they should have the suggestion for you.

At this board, although we can use that method, we typically use the Five-Element style of the I Ching reading (some have named it super i ching, but really more or less the same thing). Same way to get a hexagram, but a different way of interpreting it. If you want, post your hexagram in the Free Readings section of this board, as most readers skilled in that interpretation method go there. Likely someone will help you with your reading soon.

I read the meanings in both books.There seems to be both negative and positive to this hexagram.I just wanted someone to explain it to me better.
